My name is Jacqui Gray and I am very pleased to have an opportunity to come and talk with you about the work I do for schools, families, children and teenagers and the impact that it has on them. Together, during my talk, we will experience the techniques that I use so that you can see for yourself just how powerful and effective it can be at transforming your mood and energy.
My workshops engage everyone to use mindfulness, guided imagery and imagination. These are the main ingredients of all that I do. On their own, these three techniques can help us to change the way we feel, but when used together, it can be an incredibly powerful experience.
As a child I was incredibly shy, and I really struggled academically in school. The strongest belief that I had about myself by the time I left (age 16) was that I was a failure and wouldn’t amount to much. I do not wish this for any child, so it has become the driving force in all that I do.
I’m now a Nursery Nurse, Therapist, Mindfulness Teacher, award-winning Author and Life Coach working predominantly with children who present with challenging behaviour and/or anxiety. With 35-years’ experience in childcare, my work empowers children and helps them grow their self-worth and confidence - a valuable tool to help them cope in everyday situations.
I’m now based in the UK but have also lived and worked in Germany, Romania, Rome and Dubai where my exposure to diverse cultures and beliefs has proved incredibly insightful.
Looking forward to meeting you all.
